A developer who left GTA’s production team has been working on his own game for a while. The project, called Everywhere, will actually offer a Roblox-like experience. In other words, it will allow players to create their own games without any coding knowledge. It was stated that the open beta process will start for Everywhere.
What kind of game will Everywhere be?
Build A Rocket Boy studio, founded by Grand Theft Auto producer Leslie Menzies, has officially announced its new project. Everywhere aims to offer creative tools through a simple interface. Using the library, players will be able to create interactive items, NPC characters and locations.
These games will be tested in open beta. Some users will also be given the opportunity to fully explore Everywhere’s creation systems. Opening on June 18th, the beta will provide early access to the project.
The development team believes that by combining different vehicles, many games can be made, from action to racing. Players participating in the open beta will be able to share the games they develop with other Everywhere users.
It is possible to say that it is similar to Roblox in this regard. However, it remains unclear whether user-generated content alone will create long-term interaction. The developer emphasizes that games can be made without any coding knowledge.
Everywhere will officially launch its beta process on June 18 and enter early access. We will see how successful the game will be over time.
